Hi, my name is Kameryn and I am a teen on the road! My family lives in our RV with our 2 dogs Angel and Baxter. My brother & I like to explore the different parks that we go to and we usually go and find our friends that are at the same park that we are at! We have the freedom to roam as we please but we have to be respectful. I have met a couple of different people that I have been hanging out with and they are really cool people.
We are in a new rig and I have a bigger room and storage space. I have a full-sized bed and in our last rig, I had a twin. In my new room, I have a half bath that I share with my older brother. We have 3 closets in our room, one for school and one for each of us. There is a lot more storage in our new room like my bed lifts up and there is storage underneath. My brother has a loft above my bed and I have my own nightstand.
I start my day for school with a music playlist. I do my daily writing prompt and when I have a novel I read the chapter for that day and I answer the questions. We also go on field trips and I learn about different things that happened in the past or in the present. I have learned about Edison and Ford Winter Gardens. The Moonlight Garden and I did a presentation on the Moonlight Garden. Road schooling is schooling not from a textbook or online learning but learning in the real world. I like it because we get to go on more field trips and learn things that you don’t learn in a classroom at school. I do my Biology and math when it gets assigned. I get up in the morning and get ready by 9 o’clock.
