Instant Pot

Let me be the first to say that I absolutely LOVE my instant pot! I’ve loved it since the day it showed up on my front porch as a gift from my husband. I’ve used it faithfully for three years!!

The first thing we got for it a few years ago was the slow cooker lid and extra silicone rings. The slower cooker lid magically transforms your instant pot pressure cooker into a… you guessed it! Slow cooker!!  So if you’re wanting to extend your ability to cook multiple things at a time this is the way to do it. For us it’s great because I can set it on a table, not in the kitchen area, and as long as we have a plug we’re good to go. I can also take it outside.

Most recently I purchased a fifteen piece accessories bundle on amazon. I’ll admit, I haven’t even used all of it yet, but I am enjoying what I’ve tried.

The molds are amazing! I actually picked up one at a discount bargain store before I got this set. Having two is awesome because you can do twice as much in one batch. I’ve made egg bites, oatmeal bites, mini meatloafs, and brownies! The possibilities truly are endless. I like this because I can prep ahead and know that the serving sizes are set. For kids that are busy and like to grab snacks it’s easy.

My family LOVES hard boiled eggs… So having the egg steamer rack where you can stack them and boil a dozen at once.

I’ve only used the springform pan once. I made a meatloaf in it and mashed potatoes underneath the steam rack at the same time! It was really cool and I loved the idea of doing both. There’s endless possibilities with the pan, I just haven’t explored them yet.

I know I’m under using these tools and I’m excited to explore more
