We had a great trip to Miami in October, stayed in a cabin at the Encore resort - Miami Everglades. Did some kayaking & snorkeling (more on that later). Here we are at the Robert is Here fruit stand in Homestead.
We decided to do a birthday trip for Will instead of presents. We lean towards experiences over things. We were able to kayak and snorkel, eat a ton of really good food and go to South Beach & Key Largo. It's safe to say he had a great trip and will remember this for a lifetime.

Here is Baxter, he's not allowed on the furniture at home (the two chairs we have in the living room and the leather couch we had before the remodel). He enjoyed TONS of couch time while we were there.
When in Miami - you stop for Cuban Coffee, even if it is after 9 pm. Will wasn't a fan, but from what we've read we thought it would be sweeter. I'd give it a try again, but I don't see all the craze.
One of the reasons we chose Miami was because my older sister was on vacation with her boyfriend and friends. It was so nice to be able to meet up and hang out - bonus I took their pictures on the beach. I have missed the beach photography life.
