When we bought our first 5th Wheel in July 2019 we knew one day we'd want something bigger. Our plan was to learn the lifestyle by living it and figure out what we needed to know and then upgrade. It was important that we get the hang of truly living small and what it had to offer. To figure how what we wanted and what mattered most. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that in December 2020 we'd be bringing THIS brand new 5th wheel home with us to call our own.
We did our research on what type of floor plans we wanted and what was the most appealing to us. We made a list of things that we wanted and what was the most important to us.
*Bedroom door
*Kitchen Island
*Kids having more space
*More fridge space
*Bathroom privacy
*Outside kitchen of some sort
To say that this layout knocked it out of the park is an understatement. Ironically we'd never looked at one of these until we saw it IN person and decided to buy it. We fell in love and with and just knew we wanted a mid-bunk model. However, this model meets all of our needs and then some!
The fridge is about double the size of what we had. The island is PERFECT. I wasn't even looking for a fireplace, but this is great. It puts out heat or just for show, AND it changes colors.
The living room and dinette area. The photo on the left the double doors are a pantry. When we open the left door a light automatically turns on. I can't say enough nice things about being able to SEE everything that we have. It is making meal planning and preparing SO much easier.
Ironically, the bedroom is smaller than what we had before, but totally worth it. It's private, and feels like a bedroom. The storage and closet are different, so it's taking some getting used to, but things are staying organized. I like being able to walk around the bed.
Lastly, the kids bedroom... They both have full size beds and a ton of privacy. Not pictured is their half bathroom. Again, not something we were looking for, but something we're so grateful to have!
